Kate Murphy Law

At Kate Murphy Law we serve clients
in Mills, Pottawattamie, Fremont, Montgomery and Page Counties.

Serving Southwest Iowa since 2006

Kate Murphy has been practicing law in Southwest Iowa since 2006.  After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law, Kate worked for the Omaha firm of Kutak Rock for five years.  To be more closely tied to her community, Kate left corporate practice and now focuses her efforts closer to home.

After working with Omaha children as a pro bono project, Kate made children and families the focus of her practice.  Now Kate represents children and parents in the juvenile court system and assists families with divorce and custodial challenges.  Kate also serves as a family law mediator and an adoption investigator.

Kate is a mother and a Navy wife.  She is an active member of the community, and her children attend school in Glenwood.  Kate contributes to Mills County by serving on the Mills County Board of Health, and she supports school activities as a volunteer.

The focus at Kate Murphy Law is always you, the client.  As an essential member of your legal team, you will work cooperatively with Kate to obtain the best possible outcome for you and your family.  The law is a mechanism to settle your life and allow you to proceed to your best future.  When you work with Kate Murphy, you become an expert in your own case and a powerful advocate for yourself.
